Resources
When it comes to trading recyclable materials, efficient logistics and freight management are crucial for a successful and profitable business. One of the ways Pelagica strives to add value for our clients is through tactical logistical planning.
INCO:
Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) are universally recognised rules that guide buyers and sellers to fulfill a contract for the shipment of goods. A careful study of INCOTERMS 2020 will repay the effort by enabling more favourable trade terms for effective trade finance.
Shipping Container Specs:
Recyclable materials are generally volumetric and are mostly shipped in 40-foot High Cube Containers (HCL).
Please download the shipping container specifications for recyclable materials below.
ISRI:
We apply the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) specifications for trading guidelines.
ISRI specifications are designed to facilitate the trading and use of the entire range of recycled materials including recycled ferrous and nonferrous metals, paper, plastics, electronics, glass, tire and rubber, and residential recyclables.
